Guidelines for Athletic Activities
Click here for the link to
Alabama Public Health's Guidelines.
In addition to the Safer at Home Order’s mandates and
the Guidelines for Safeguarding All Businesses, the
following practices are strongly recommended for all
adult and youth sporting activities and events.
This guidance is intended for everyone participating in or
watching youth or adult sports, including practices. These
are minimum recommended health guidelines.
Players, spectators, and other participants should when
possible minimize in-person contact with others not in their
household, in part by maintaining 6 feet of separation from
them. When maintaining 6 feet of separation is not possible,
other methods should be used to slow the spread of
COVID-19, such as, when not playing, wearing a face covering
or mask and frequently washing or sanitizing hands.
